Wholesale and retail

Pests need three things to survive: food, water and shelter. A well-stocked supermarket has all three. The large size of the stores, the high level of shopper activity, regular food deliveries and stockpiling give pests ample opportunity to enter the stores, contaminate the food and damage the reputation of the supermarket.

The most common pests found in supermarkets are brown cockroaches, mice, flies, various stored product pests and birds. Each of these poses a number of health and property risks. The most common places where pests occur in supermarkets are in confectionery departments, bakeries, meat departments, under shelves, in bulk food boxes, in staff rest areas, in loading areas, in bins and in refuse collection areas.

What do our customers expect and get?

  • We offer a range of preventive measures and advice.

These are our priorities, and we try not to compromise on them.

  • High quality pest control services.

We make sure they meet the highest standards. We provide pest control services in accordance with EU standard EN 16636:2015 “Pest control services – requirements and competences”.

  • Ensuring that the service provider has a good understanding of the service rendered, the external and internal audit requirements, and the requirements of the State Food and Veterinary Service for food at the point of sale.

We follow the latest regulatory acts on food safety requirements and participate in various training courses and seminars organised by the specialists of State National Public Health Service and State Food and Veterinary Service.

  • We offer a wide range of services and destruction methods.

We are constantly adding to our range the tools, equipment and methods to solve the pest problem not only as quickly as possible, but also as safely and professionally as possible.

  • All control work will be carried out outside the working hours.

Credo’s specialists always coordinate the timing of their services. We work 24 hours a day.

  • Get valuable advice on pest management.

Pest control involves not only eradication but also monitoring. Timely information on the appearance of a harmful organism helps to solve the problem much faster and easier. This is where company employees usually come in, and we place great emphasis on educating them about pest identification by organising employee training.

  • Regular reports on the work carried out.

As we comply with EN 16636:2015 “Pest control services – requirements and competences”, we regularly report to the customer on the work carried out and carry out internal audits and, if necessary, external audits.

  • Prompt response if new pests are found.

Yes, because it is in our own interest: once any pest is established on site, its control becomes more difficult and more harmful to the environment and to people.

How does Credo pest control work?

Credo responds immediately to customers’ requirements and advises on all aspects of sanitation, hygiene and equipment use.

All these services are provided by Credo’s professional pest control specialists.

Credo’s services cover not only pest control but also preventive measures.

Credo UAB follows the provisions of EN 16636:2015 “Pest control services – requirements and competences”.

We believe that a progressive pest control company, whose technicians will inspect and combat pests on a weekly basis, will always be involved in educating the customer’s employees and developing their vigilance. This is the only way to make pest control procedures effective. Managers of retail outlets and centres make a big mistake in not providing employees with sufficient knowledge of their role in pest management and food safety, as well as the importance of checks on incoming products. We always help the customer to avoid problems of this kind: our training aims at familiarising the customer’s employees with pests and the possible ways to protect themselves.

We will help you to design and implement the best pest elimination and exclusion programme (integrated pest management programme) that combines reliable and common-sense pest eradication and control solutions. A pest control specialist will help you to identify any potential problem areas, assess sanitary conditions and identify problem areas that should be replaced or removed.
